「SMS : The Sardinia Radio Telescope Metrology System」

The Sardinia Radio Telescope (SRT) is finally ready to observe at high frequencies up to 116 GHz. To ensure performance requirements in terms of both pointing accuracy and main reflector surface accuracy under these operating conditions, the radio telescope has been equipped with a new metrology system. n this way, it will be possible to mitigate the effects of environmental loads in order to optimise the pointing and antenna gain. The purpose of this slideshow is first to provide an overview of all the components of the SRT's metrology system (SMS), describing the main features that will make the Sardinia Radio Telescope a state of the art facility. Then, it describes the strategy designed to accomplish the purposes and the preliminary studies that have been carried out in view of the ongoing system commissioning.

講演時間と質疑応答の目安は, それぞれ60分および30分です. また, セミナー終了後, 残っていただき, 講演者の方とざっくばらんに意見交換することも可能です.
